The mission of the Adair & Guthrie County Emergency Management Agency is to support, coordinate, and maintain local homeland security and emergency management activities to help establish sustainable communities for Adair & Guthrie Counties and their citizens.

Adair & Guthrie County Emergency Management Agency will assist other disciplines to maximize survival and preservation of life, property and the environment in the event of any natural or man-made disaster or major accident affecting any community or rural area of Adair & Guthrie County by making the best possible utilization of available personnel, equipment, facilities, supplies or other resources.

The Adair & Guthrie County Emergency Management Agency will promote a strong organizational structure with local governments, business, industry and citizens to best prepare, respond to, recover from and mitigate all types of hazards.
